Kim Knight, Ph.D.

Dr. Kim Knight has been a practicing Psychologist in the state of Florida for over 10 years, and has been working within the field of mental health for almost 20 years.  She has had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings during this time including rehabilitation centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential group homes, community mental health centers, and private practice.   As such, Dr. Knight has had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages struggling with a broad spectrum of difficulties.  Some of the areas in which she has specialized over the course of her career include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, interpersonal violence, pain management and biofeedback training, parent-child conflicts, marital/partner discord, communication training, and esteem/skill building.

For the past 7 years, Dr. Knight has dedicated herself to the private practice arena where she provides individual, marital, and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.  Not only does Dr. Knight work extensively with children, adolescents, and their families in this therapeutic environment, but she also conducts psychological testing.  Therefore, Dr. Knight has the experience of working with individuals on a multitude of levels over the entire span of the treatment process - from identification of the problem through assessment or evaluation, to diagnosis of the problem, and then treatment of the problem in the appropriate clinical setting.
