Kimberlee Trinkofsky is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Addictions Professional.  I am a member of the American Counseling Association and the Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Foundation. I provide outpatient counseling, specializing in treatment of children, adolescents and families. Topics of expertise include but are not limited to Addictions and Substance Abuse, Children and Adolescent Issues, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Divorce, Dual Diagnosis, Impulse Control Disorders, Parenting, and Relationship Issues.  

I am committed to providing a caring, encouraging and positive experience for my client, focusing on finding solutions to life’s issues. Drug and alcohol addiction can be extremely distressing to individuals as well as their families. Finding the right therapist is critical to the success of the individual. I am dedicated to providing quality mental health and addiction counseling in the privacy of my office where I can offer you a safe and supportive environment.  I am available for appointments during evening and weekend hours. Sessions are held in the most confidential manner. In addition, I offer the convenience of providing sessions by telephone. I also provide the necessary referral sources if alternative treatment is deemed necessary at time of assessment.

My approach is eclectic; I adapt techniques to best meet the needs of each client. I offer a range of modalities from the conventional to the innovative, including cognitive behavioral, client-centered and solution-focused. When treating children, I determine the child’s learning style, which will ultimately increase their success in counseling. I believe that it is essential to focus on the individual's goals and strengths rather than the problem.
