Lawrence Burstein, Ph.D.

Dr. Burstein was born and raised in the Northeast. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Dr. Burstein then attended Nova University (now Nova Southeastern University), earning his Masters and Doctoral degrees. His Pre-Doctoral internship took place at The Children’s Psychiatric Center, in North Miami, Florida. He has been a therapist since 1984. Dr. Burstein has been licensed as a Psychologist since April, 1992. He joined Linda Berlin, Psy.D. & Psychological Associates in December, 1999.

Dr. Burstein works with children having behavioral problems and adults suffering from mood disorders such as anxiety and depression. He also works with couples experiencing relationship problems. Dr. Burstein does not work with teenagers or with people who are experiencing substance abuse problems. He is available for appointments on Wednesday afternoons and evenings and Saturday mornings and afternoons. Dr. Burstein can be reached at (954) 227-2700.
