Marino Molina, Jr., MD., MBA, DABFM, CPI

 

Dr. Molina completed his General Psychiatry training at Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital which is associated with the National Institute of Mental Health and the Department of Health Services, in Washington, D.C.. He finished a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the JMH with the University of Miami.  Dr. Molina is also a Certified Physician Investigator involved in several clinical trials involving new medications for the treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Insomnia, Panic Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, and ADHD.  Additionally, he has experience and training in various areas of psychology, including various models of psychotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, hypnosis and also has studies of public health.

Dr. Molina is Board Certified in Forensic Medicine. Additionally, he holds a Master’s degree in Administration. He has been the President of the South Florida Council of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. For nearly a decade, Dr. Molina has worked with Emotionally Handicapped and Severely Emotionally Disturbed programs within 10 different Miami-Dade County public schools.  His extensive experience spans a broad-spectrum of areas including working as a Staff Psychiatrist at Citrus Health Network and Douglas Gardens Community Mental Health Center.

Dr. Molina has been working as a Principal Investigator in new medications clinical trials with Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKlein, Wyeth, Cephalon, Organon, Eli Lilly, Otsuka, Shire, Abbot, Merck, Bayer, Forest Pharmaceutical, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Sanofi-Aventis. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, the Association of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Investigators, the American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
