We know that sometimes it may be very difficult to make that first call. In order to provide our clients with the highest comfort level, you will be greeted on the phone by either Denise, our Office Manager, Lisa, Lee, Melissa or Lydia, our Administrative Assistants. Our administrative staff is devoted to helping you make a smooth transition into our practice.
Many of you may have insurance coverage that will require you to see a provider who is specifically covered by your insurance. While, collectively, we are contracted providers for most insurance companies, not every therapist is on every panel. Accordingly, when you call our office, we will ask you who your particular insurance company is in order to refer you to the specific therapist in our group who works best with your presenting problem and is also covered by your insurance.
Once it is determined which therapist best meets your individual needs, your name and phone number will immediately be given to that therapist who will call you back as soon as s/he is free. Please note that we are often seeing clients "back-to-back" and may not be able to return the call for a few hours. Please feel free to ask when you could expect a call back. Of course, if is an extremely urgent situation, it will be handled in a very timely manner.
If you do not have insurance, it is important to know that you can still get help. We will work closely with you to provide a sliding fee to a level in which you can be comfortable.
With decades of combined experience, the mental health therapists at Linda Berlin, Psy.D. & Psychological Associates have diligently aspired to provide our local community with outstanding psychological services and resources. We consider the experience of psychotherapy to be an invaluable method of improving one's quality of life and interpersonal relationships.

The decision to consult with a mental health professional is often a highly personal and unfamiliar event. As such, consultations are held in the most confidential and discreet manner.
