Scott Berlin, Psy.D., LMHC Dr. Berlin has been working in the mental health field for almost 20 years. While earning his Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology he began his training working full-time in several of the psychiatric hospitals in the tri-county area. During his career, he has worked extensively with a myriad of mental disorders including: Depression, Substance Abuse, Adolescent Issues, Anxiety Disorders, Schizophrenias, Bi-Polar Disorders and various issues pertaining to family related conflicts. In addition to the aforementioned hospital experiences, Dr. Berlin has also maintained a private practice for the past 12 years. Some of the areas of specialty that Dr. Berlin presently enjoys working with are; Marital conflicts, Depression, various concerns associated with adolescents, Anxiety Disorders and individuals struggling with drug related dependencies or addictions. Dr. Berlin’s therapeutic orientation can be most succinctly described as paralleling a Humanistic and interactive model of therapy which draws upon a wide range of techniques and styles. He is especially concerned with fostering a strong and trustworthy rapport by providing a warm, friendly and non- judgmental atmosphere.
